Efficacy
These homemade dumplings are perfect for one serving. The savory pork flavor blends perfectly with the sweetness of cabbage. They have thin wrappers and tender fillings, and their low GI value makes them a great staple food choice for those on a diet or controlling their blood sugar.

process
1. Blanch the cabbage leaves, chop them finely, and squeeze out the excess water; mince the ginger; (after chopping, add salt and let it sit for 10 minutes before squeezing out the excess water)
2. Add minced ginger, chopped green onions, light soy sauce, cooking wine, salt, and pepper to the ground pork. Stir in one direction until well combined. Add chopped cabbage and sesame oil and mix well to make the filling.
3. Take a dumpling wrapper, put in the filling, and pinch the edges to seal it into a dumpling;
4. Bring water to a boil in a pot, add dumplings, and cook until they float to the surface, then cook for another 2 minutes. (When cooking dumplings, cover the pot and add water when foam rises to the surface, then continue cooking.)
You can then adjust the sauce to your liking, or choose not to adjust it.
For example: If you can eat spicy food, add chili oil, light soy sauce, vinegar, and sesame oil.
