This low-oil version of braised beef brisket with tomatoes allows the sweet and sour flavors of tomatoes to infuse into the tender beef brisket. It's low in fat and high in protein, very filling, and has a low glycemic index, making it suitable for people who are trying to lose weight.

  • 250g of beef brisket

  • 2 tomatoes

  • Half an onion

  • 3 slices of ginger

  • 2 sections of scallion

  • 1 tablespoon of light soy sauce

  • A pinch of salt

  • A pinch of white pepper powder

  • Half a spoonful of cooking oil

process

1. Cut the beef brisket into chunks, put it in a pot of cold water, add ginger slices and cooking wine, blanch it, then remove and rinse it.

2. Score the top of the tomatoes with an X, blanch them in boiling water to remove the skin, and cut them into chunks. Cut the onion into chunks as well.

3. Heat a pan with half a spoonful of oil, add onions and ginger slices and sauté until fragrant, then add diced tomatoes and stir-fry until they release their juices;
